I decided to show the creative process behind the latest Dueling Analogs comic: Too Little, Too Late.
The process begins in Photoshop where I do the rough sketches of what I want the actual strip. I then move my sketch file into Illustrator to lay down the flat colors. I understand that Photoshop has a line tool, but I prefer the tool and advance illustrative options that are available in Illustrator. I choose contrasting colors that are easy to individually select when I begin the coloring process. After the colors are laid out, I move the image back into Photoshop and lay down the colors.
That's basically it. Besides moving the final colored image back into Illustrator for the lettering and export, that's how these type of comics are made.
"If I knew you were comin' I'd've baked a cake/baked a cake/If I knew you were comin' I'd've baked a cake/Hachee doo hachee doo hachee doo"
Much love for this one. I think the song is perfect for GLaDOS
